"Pesticide Safety: What you Should Know"

Calling ALL gardeners!  Sarah Bailey, a Connecticut Accredited Nursery Professional and Pesticide Safety Educator, will speak to the CT Rose Society about proper pesticide usage and the hazards involved when not applied correctly. Learn the meaning of pesticide labels to ensure a safe environment for yourself and your gardens.  Doors open at 1:30, meeting begins at 2:15 pm.  Free and open to the public.Sarah is also a Certified Advanced Master Gardener and the Hartford CountyCoordinator for the UConn Extension Master Gardener Program.  She has worked in the horticultural industry for the last two decades as, variously, a retail nursery manager, a private gardener and garden designer and a consultant for several landscape firms.
